Template:Canon

Marks a word page's canonical status. It replaces Template:Canonicity and Template:Spoken on word pages.
For a canonical word, the template lists every canon source in which the word appears. Set each source parameter to yes, or leave it out:
show: the word appears in the show (a scene, a song, or on-screen text).books: the word is used in the books.companion: the word is listed in the Old Tongue glossary of The Wheel of Time Companion.spokenonly: marks the show attestation as spoken only. It takes the place of Template:Spoken, and impliesshow.
Derived and novel words take no source parameters, and render exactly as Template:Canonicity does. A derived word is also placed in Category:Derived words; this applies only to pages in the main namespace.
Usage:
{{Canon|canonical|show=yes|books=yes|companion=yes}}
{{Canon|canonical|show=yes|spokenonly=yes}}
{{Canon|derived}}
{{Canon|novel}}
