— Mat Cauthon

Notes

  • The meaning of "reject" is inferred from an alternative version of Mat Cauthon's theme which appears in the end credits of the Season 2 finale. In this version, the line is "kadanti'de tamarakad, shaidor mozhlit'de sorbatel". In context, this is playing right at the end of the episode where Mat finally embraced his destiny in the pattern and his role as the blower of the Horn. We thus assume kadanti'de is commenting that he did *not* reject the pattern, and thus The Shadow may *not* run amok.
