[Ishamael lies in bed. Rand appears to be present.]

[Rand fades away, revealing Lanfear, who is grinning and chuckling.]

Ishamael

[Ishamael gets out of the bed and goes to get a drink from the table. Lanfear stretches and the lights in the room come up, and she also gets out of the bed.]

Lanfear

"I just have to pass the time here while I'm waiting for someone to get some shut-eye."

Ishamael

"People blame us for 'breaking the world' but they didn't bother to pick up the pieces. Three thousand years later and they're still bashing about with swords and queens."
