Weep for Manetheren is a single released in 2022 by Hildegard von Blingin', a Canadian bardcore artist. The Old Tongue lyrics were composed in collaboration with Bernadette Banner, based on the English-language song "Sing of Manetheren" from Season 1, Episode 2 of The Wheel of Time television series. The English translations are presented parenthetically.

Notes

Considerable new vocabulary is introduced in this song in muadniey, daine, and ir. Worth comment is daine, perhaps related to daien and daienne (dance). Rather than "dance", here it means "trace", as in something between walking through and dancing through.
