-ye suffix

-ye is a grammatical suffix in Old Tongue which modifies a word from a material meaning to an immaterial meaning. When applied to numbers, it shifts from counting physical objects to counting abstract concepts. When applied to other words, it often signals the use of a word as a metonym — as when banta (seat) becomes bantye (throne).
